Both. Dory is the technology, an AI assistant we built. But we don't sell pure software access. We set everything up, configure the use cases and make sure it works long-term. That's our tech-enabled service approach: you don't get the tool, you get the result.

Does Dory work without HubSpot?

Yes. HubSpot is the core, where Dory delivers the deepest integration and the most value. But Dory can also support without HubSpot: Google Mail, Google Drive, Linear, ClickUp, LinkedIn and web research are all available. Which combination makes sense for you, we'll figure out together.

Can Dory do web research?

Yes. Dory can search the web, read pages and summarize results in a structured way. Important: all facts are sourced directly from references, no fabrications. For sensitive topics, there's an additional verification step: each statement is checked against the original source and marked as "Verified", "Not found" or "Unclear".

Which AI model powers Dory?

Dory is model-agnostic, no vendor lock-in. Models from OpenAI (GPT-4), Anthropic (Claude) and Google (Gemini) are available depending on the task:

Essential: Fast, for simple tasks and routine questions
  Standard: Recommended default for most tasks
  Pro: Maximum reasoning power for complex analyses

The model can be switched at any time, even mid-conversation.

What are Skills?

Skills are reusable instructions that you explain to Dory once and that are stored permanently. Example: "When I ask for a call summary, always use this format." Once explained, Dory always does it that way. Skills can be shared across the team or kept private.

What is the Workspace?

The Workspace is Dory's persistent memory for documents. Research results, meeting notes, project plans: everything Dory creates can be stored permanently. Next time, Dory picks up where you left off. There's a team area (visible to all) and a private area (only for you).

Is Dory GDPR-compliant?

Yes, fully:

EU-hosted: All data is processed and stored on servers in Frankfurt, Germany. No transfer to third countries.
  No training data: Your content is not used for training AI models.
  Data sovereignty: Your data belongs to you. We have no rights to it.

Is our data used for AI training?

Accepted Answer

No. Your data is not used for training language models or other AI systems, neither by us nor by the model providers. This is contractually secured.

Who has access to our data?

Accepted Answer

Nobody except you. Dory employees have no access to your HubSpot data or conversations during regular operations. Technical support is only provided with your explicit approval.

How is HubSpot data transferred?

Accepted Answer

Via the official HubSpot API and OAuth token. We only read and write what's necessary for the configured use cases. No broad access to your entire HubSpot account. The scope is defined in the first call and set out in the contract.

Is there a Data Processing Agreement (DPA)?

Yes, by default. You receive our DPA before the project starts. Just ask.

What happens to our data when we cancel?

Accepted Answer

All your data (conversations, workspace documents, skills, configurations) will be completely deleted upon request after the contract ends. You can export your data beforehand.

We're a young company. Formal certifications (ISO 27001 etc.) are on the roadmap. What we offer today: EU hosting in Frankfurt, GDPR-compliant contracts, DPA and no training with your data. For specific compliance requirements: talk to us directly.

A one-time setup fee for onboarding and configuration, then a monthly flat fee plus usage-based credits for AI models. The exact costs depend on your use case, setup complexity, and usage volume. After the discovery call we'll make you a concrete offer. No hidden pricing, no surprises.

We typically start with a clearly defined use case. If that works, we expand. No blind commitment to a large package.
